Linux systems administrator

To enhance our team in Lyon, we are seeking our future Linux systems administrator!

Responsibilities & Duties:

As a Linux Administrator, you will be in charge of daily technical support for users, software support, and the configuration of Linux devices.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining the infrastructure, providing second and third-level technical support, managing system resources and user accounts, diagnosing and fixing malfunctions/failures, installing security patches, administering the network and firewall, while also measuring and optimizing the performance of operating systems. Furthermore, you will participate in the implementation and integration of selected operating systems, advise teams on their use, design or adapt chosen solutions, and ensure the security and reliability of the company’s systems.


Desired Skills:

We are looking for experienced Linux system administration candidates who are capable of working in an international environment with a good level of English.

Required skills include Agile project management, expertise in UNIX/LINUX infrastructure, knowledge in Linux system administration (Shell, scripting, etc.), experience with OVH & AWS Public Cloud, database administration for PostgreSQL/ElasticSearch, proficiency in WAN/LAN network administration and security (Firewall), knowledge in containerization (Kubernetes), as well as a results-driven culture, a methodical and meticulous approach, and a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
