Description:

We are hiring a Systems and Networks Engineer M/F to strengthen our team. Under the responsibility of the CIO, you will be in charge of managing, administering, and optimizing the Windows / Microsoft 365 IT infrastructure, and WAN/LAN network. Main responsibilities:

  • Deploy and maintain operational condition of application and infrastructure solutions.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of Microsoft 365 platforms, Azure AD, Intune, SharePoint, and Windows workstations.
  • Diagnose and solve breakdowns in collaboration with our internal organization and customer support.
  • Document deliverables such as reports, technical architecture documentation, operating documents, and change procedures.

Tasks and activities: Infrastructure maintenance

  • Provide second and third-level technical support.
  • Manage system resources and user accounts.
  • Keep system infrastructures operational, diagnose hardware or software failures and malfunctions.
  • Perform evolutionary and corrective maintenance in line with major technological developments.
  • Measure and optimize operating system performance (tuning).
  • Proactively manage the WAN/LAN network, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer network components such as routers, switches, and access points.
  • Participate in VPN infrastructure management, ensuring secure connectivity between remote sites and external users. Workstation and users
  • Advise IT department teams on the use of system resources.
  • Configure and size hardware solutions according to the performance required by software.
  • Test systems in place and ensure compatibility of elements with each other.
  • Write and update documentation for procedures and operating instructions.
  • Ensure the security and reliability of the company’s systems.
  • Participate in technical validation phases during production rollouts. Needs analysis and technology monitoring
  • Gather necessary information and study hardware and software equipment needs.
  • Recommend solutions based on target architectures to meet user needs.
  • Draft specifications containing technical specifications of equipment.
  • Conduct technology monitoring to ensure optimization of the company’s system resources.

Skills:

  • Windows operating system
  • Knowledge in Azure AD and Intune administration
  • Microsoft 365, Entra & SharePoint management
  • Knowledge in scripting (PowerShell, bash, script, …)
  • Basic knowledge of Python is desirable
  • Network & Security Infrastructure Administration: WAN/LAN and Firewall
  • VPN Infrastructure Administration
  • Ability to analyze Operational Technology network protocols: Modbus / OPC UA / BacNet

Education & Profile: With a higher education degree in computer science, you have a successful 3-year experience in a similar position. You have a B2 level of English, allowing you to be comfortable in an international environment. We are looking for a dynamic and committed professional to join our team, with a strong culture of results and a high sense of customer service. You easily adapt in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment while being rigorous and methodical. You enjoy teamwork and have a strong sensitivity to quality and continuous improvement.
