Job Description

Under the responsibility of the Chief Information Officer / Chief Product Officer, you are in charge of IT infrastructure and operations as the Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations. Your responsibilities include:

  1. As the Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations for BeeBryte’s global IT services portfolio deployed worldwide (Europe / Asia), your tasks include:
    • Providing leadership and supervision for the growing IT operations team, consisting of 4 members and the IT infrastructure team.
    • Structuring and organizing the service to support the company’s “Scale Up” efforts. The current team is based in Lyon and Singapore.
    • Managing the global deployment of IT services (Cloud, Edge, On-Premise) to meet defined SLAs set by the business.
    • Overseeing the IT service RUN with an L1/L2 Support team (Service Delivery Manager / IT Support Engineer).
    • Managing a BUILD L3 team (Infrastructure Solution Managers / Infrastructure Expert Engineers) to handle the roadmap.
    • Managing all vendors (contract types: Body Leases, fixed-price contracts, service contracts).
  2. As the manager of the L1/L2/L3 Support teams (Service Delivery Manager / IT Support L1 & L2 Engineers / L3: Database admin, Cloud Engineer, Network & Security Engineer), your mission is to:
    • Provide technical assistance and guidance to the IT Service Desk.
    • Ensure compliance with the ITIL framework for all services covering request management: incidents, problems, and changes.
    • Deploy Best Practices in IT service management.
    • Handle new requests related to company applications and services.
    • Directly participate in incident or problem management (regardless of priority) that affects the service, taking responsibility for incidents not resolved in a timely manner.
  3. You manage the lifecycle of technical services and solutions, as well as infrastructure:
    • In collaboration with the Chief Technical Architect and Chief Information Officer, you define the roadmap for IT infrastructure services and solutions (Cloud / On Premise / Edge).
    • Implement the roadmap with the help of your teams (internal and third-party providers).
  4. You manage the entire infrastructure service portfolio (RUN) and the associated transformation roadmap (BUILD):
    • IT services (Workstations / On-Premise Servers / Cloud Servers / Containers)
    • Network and device security services (Switches, Firewalls, VPNs, Routers)
    • Database services (PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch)
    • Cloud infrastructure service providers (OVH Cloud / AWS)
    • Identity and access management services (IPA, Keycloak, Azure AD)
    • Digital Workplace – Microsoft Office 365
    • Tools (CI/CD DevOps / Monitoring / CMDB / ITSM)
  5. You manage services (RUN only) for all company applications/products:
    • SaaS ERP (Axelor)
    • SaaS CRM (PipeDrive)
    • SaaS ESM / ITSM / PPM (Atlassian)
    • Hivolution (an in-house BeeBryte application)
  6. You manage vendors and serve as a Contract Manager / Supplier Manager for the infrastructure provider:
    • Define the scope of the service for the contract / Service catalog definition.
    • Negotiate contracts (time and materials, fixed-price contracts, SLA-based service contracts).
    • Develop outsourcing strategies for low-value-added services with fixed-price contracts from vendors.

 

Experience

Functional Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in managing a team of similar size (experience in a SaaS company is a plus).
  • 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure support and Service Delivery, preferably within a medium-sized organization.
  • Good understanding of Cloud, server and desktop hardware/operating systems, networks, firewalls, load balancers, telecoms, etc.
  • A deep and analytical approach with the ability to anticipate potential issues and identify areas for improvement.
  • A strong customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent ability to prioritize and allocate resources/efforts appropriately.
  • Experience working with third-party service providers.

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows / Linux.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure Active Directory (design, security, and administration).
  • In-depth knowledge of messaging (MS Exchange, Archiving, Unified Communications).
  • In-depth understanding of networking technologies and concepts.
  • Good understanding of IT security and data protection.
  • Good understanding of mobile and Cloud technologies.

Other Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with a wide range of users.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to manage organizational changes.

 

Profile

Level: Bachelor’s degree or higher

Experience: 10 years, including:

  • A minimum of 5 years in IT Operational Management / IT Service Delivery Management.
  • 5 years of experience in project management / program management.
  • 5 years of experience in team management / service management.

Certifications:

  • ITIL Service delivery manager qualifications.
  • Prince2 / PMP Project management certification.
