We are recruiting for the role of Head of Automation & BMS / Automation & GTB Service Manager (M/F) based in Lyon. You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and be involved in supporting teams and deploying the BeeBryte solution at client sites.
Responsibilities and Missions:
You will be responsible for a team consisting of several engineers specializing in building automation technologies. The team’s missions include:
Identifying communication and control methods for equipment controlled by BeeBryte on each site (HVAC and refrigeration).
Preparing and conducting technical interventions at client sites, such as:
Installation of BeeBryte equipment (electrical control panel)
Installation of sensors and energy meters
Establishing communication links between machines
Coordinating and monitoring subcontractors and suppliers involved in BeeBryte’s technical interventions.
Identifying the equipment needed for various interventions and mastering that equipment.
Carrying out development and deployment actions for automation and Building Management System (communication gateway / supervisory view, etc.).
Assessing the technical feasibility of projects and defining the best equipment interface solutions based on a technical-economic context.
Collaborating with different teams in different locations, time zones, and cultures.
As a team manager and leader, you will:
Support each team member in achieving their individual objectives.
Work on cross-functional initiatives to develop the service’s skills and knowledge of different technologies.
Coordinate the overall workload of the team.
Contribute to strategic decision-making to improve the company’s performance.
Collaborate with other service managers to enhance efficiency.
Personally carry out team missions as described above to maintain constant contact with on-site realities.
You will work in partnership with project managers to design, install, and commission projects that aim to reduce energy costs in various industrial and commercial clients, including the agri-food, logistics, and retail sectors, among others.
You have a strong understanding of building automation and Building Management System (BMS) in use in industrial and commercial sectors. You are familiar with the building industry, have good knowledge of HVAC and/or refrigeration equipment and systems, and are technically innovative.
You thrive in action, can handle on-site constraints and pressures, and deliver under tight deadlines, maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness. You are capable of working autonomously on-site.
You enjoy switching between on-site and office work, are pragmatic and organized, and are committed to projects that promote building energy efficiency.
You hold a technical higher education degree and have a successful track record that includes solid knowledge in building automation, industrial computing, GTB/GTC/SCADA systems.
You are familiar with major communication protocols used in the building sector (Modbus, Bacnet, LON, etc.).
You have general technical knowledge in electrical engineering.
You are capable of performing technical operations at client sites.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all stakeholders in a BeeBryte project, both internal and external.
You have strong leadership skills, can set clear objectives, and achieve them.
Good written and oral communication skills in French.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Knowledge of low-voltage electricity and energy measurement systems is a plus.

Gross Annual Salary : Depending on experience
